I finally found a pair of jeans.
If you remember, last week my ass didn’t cooperate so well when it came to trying on jeans. Tonight, I had a couple mishaps but I was determined not to leave that mall without a damned pair of jeans.
And pair of jeans I found.
At Macy*s. Who would have thunk? I don’t usually buy jeans there, usually I’m an American Eagle girl since they have the short size and their prices are reasonable. SO tonight I decided to try Macy*s. Oh! Look! Sale! Yay!!
So I forgo the junior section in lieu of straight upstairs to the *women’s* section. I have yet to come to terms with the fact that my 25 year old ass (okay…25 in a month) will not and does not still fit into the junior size 2. Or size small. Or size anything. I’m beginning to come to terms with this…
because tonight I fell in love with a pair of jeans.
They’re not low waist but really? Who wants to see your ass crack hanging out. I’m tired of being paranoid about having plumbers butt. But they hug my hips just right and make my butt look just round enough and the best part? They’re not too long. Gah, being 5′1 1/2″ it is so effing hard to find jeans that aren’t too long.
So all of these are good things. But the best part?
They’re DKNY. And they were $50.
Who gets the win?
Heidi gets the win. Ohhh yeah!!!
and then? I bought $100 worth of shirts from Nordstrom.
For the Win.
No I totally didn’t break my lenten sacrifice. I NEEDED these.
Now where does the luck part come in? I tried to find a cute top for tomorrow night AND cute shoes? To no avail. I should have given up and just came home after the jeans were found. Of course I know I did say i bought 3 tops. One is a possibility for tomorrow night…but I haven’t decided. Maybe. Maybe not. Blah.
BUT YAY NEWS JEANS!!!!

I’m glad you found something you love! It’s so nice to know that other people struggle to find jeans too. I have the opposite problem, however. I can never find them long enough. You’d be surprised how impossible it is to find a dark-wash bootcut with a 36″ inseam… gaaah! I hate shopping for jeans.

A great pair of jeans is the best find ever. Maybe more than a man. Seriously.

Yay for new jeans - and at such a great price!!! woo! The last 2 pairs of jeans I bought averaged $200
(worth it, only cause they look so frickin good on me - they’re actually the same brand & style, but in different colours. haha)
