Me: Can I have some cheddar?

A couple seconds later boyfriend makes a sour face and smacks his lips unhappily…

Me: What?

Boyfriend: That one’s not cheese….

….he had grabbed the butter instead of the Irish Whiskey Cheese we had the other night. HA!

Easter dinner - Maple glazed Ham, candied carrots, caramelized sweet potatoes, steamed asparagus and irish soda bread.

Dessert consisted of Birds Nest Cupcakes. All of it was delicious, and just..fabulous. Boyfriend’s parents seemed satisfied and really aside from making it through the 3 hour long mass last night, that was really all that mattered to me this weekend.

Speaking of which - here are a couple pictures of me receiving the sacrament of confirmation and my RCIA class. Such a lovely mass - despite the longevity but all in all a great great great experience.

All in all, a great great great weekend. Thank you everyone to the fabulous congratulatory remarks on twitter and the like. For my own Easter basket, I bought myself this:

Anyhow time to put some laundry on and relax. Or in my case, swoon over the stuff at PotteryBarn Teen and finish “Eat Pray Love” ONLY FIVE MORE PAGES!!! Tomorrow it’s back to work - two long days this week. Thankfully I’ve got a few treats coming in the mail to make up for the long hours I’ll be doing Monday and Wednesday and a short but early shift at the gym on Saturday followed by wine tasting, mass and hanging out with my pal Liz at some point this weekend. Woo!
