Had my last workout pre-tri. We ran a slow, slow 3.5 mile run this morning.

We had an awesome sunset yoga last night. I ended it after shavasana by reversing my dog to get an upside down look over the Severn River.
Tonight I pack. Tomorrow we leave. I’m nervous. Excited. I know that I’ve trained pretty hard and have done all I can.
My plan…
Stay to the outside and the back for the swim.
Transition quickly. Be precise about everything.
Push it on the first 4.5 miles on the flat easy part.
Take the hills by storm and recover on the downhills.
Run easy on the uphill to keep moving without walking.
Run hard on the flat and downhill.
Fuel up between the transitions with shot blocks.
Drink lots of electrolytes.
Keep those in my bike.
Keep water at transition.
Finish strong.
I’m ready. Let’s do this.
Then enjoy lots of wine. Good, Hopkins Vineyeard Wine.
And possibly trek up to Vermont to see my Nana. Who isn’t doing well. I love you Nana.
