I miss running. So very very much.
I miss having the energy to run.
I miss being able to do crazy back bendy yoga poses – this week I practiced outdoors on Thursday with lululemon on West Street but struggled a lot. Still, felt amazing at the end.
I miss registering for races – saw a bunch of people ran the Navy-Air Force half marathon – a race that was on my original race plan for the year.
I miss sleeping through the night. I get up usually only once (for now) to go pee – more often than not it’s within an hour of my alarm going off.
I miss sushi. We went out to one of our favorite joints downtown after church today and I enjoyed the avocado roll and the cucumber roll but MAN I really wanted some of Adam’s salmon avocado roll.
I miss booze – orange crushes, wine – sweet wine, beer – especially summery wheat beers and ciders perfect for autumn. I don’t miss getting drunk, but I do miss just…sipping on a nice beverage when out with friends.
I don’t miss being able to eat what I want. I’m not going too crazy, but I do enjoy satisfying cravings.
I don’t miss staying up late. Ten o’clock bedtimes are the norm these days, whereas we were staying up closer to midnight before.
I miss blogging – while there is much to blog about I often just don’t have time. Or energy. Hopefully that’ll change in the next few weeks since I have so much
We’re coming up on the end of the first trimester and I survived. With minimal sickness (hooray!), and I’m finally starting to eat regular food again (yay!!!) and starting to get my energy back (hurrah!!) so hopefully I’ll be able to get back in my sneaks and back on the mat more regularly. I feel so much better when I’m active, but the past six weeks since we found out about baby have really been about surviving my never ending sleepiness and nauseousness.
