Back in Business

I’m back.

Two weeks I’ve been out of commission. It started with a bad case of the sniffles. Aches, I stayed home two weeks ago sick.

It was getting better, thank you Mucinex and decongestant.

Then Friday night into Saturday more aches, a fever, and by Sunday I couldn’t breathe out of my nose.

Sinus infection.

So for the past week I was on the mend, I’m finishing up my amoxicillin tonight, and starting back on training.

I’m two weeks behind. But was legitimately sick and well, we all know that trying to train when your body isn’t having it is just bad news.

So tonight? Jillian Michael’s 30 day Shred, 100 Push Up plan begins as well as some wii yoga.

I missed yesterdays run, but that’s okay – I spent about 8 hours in a car so there.

My training plan for this week?

M – off, travel day.

T – XT/strength

W – 5 mi tempo run – 1 mi warm up, 3 mi @10:30, 1 mi cool down

Th – XT/Strength

F – off

Sat – 10 miles @ 12:17

Sun – XT/rest

14 weeks to go till VT City!! (10 weeks to the 10 miler. A possible 8k/10k before then)

Wow good luck. It’s coming fast. My half is in 10 weeks.
