A couple weeks ago, I got a little gift in the way of a bucket and a new jean jacket from The Gap (similar to this one that Laceybean got – I forgot to take a picture but here’s her fab link).
A couple weeks after that, I got an email from Justine at Brand About Town (love her!!!) to set me up with a little (what I call…) Fit Session at The Gap so they could outfit me for Blogher 2010. I lurrrrrve me some fit sessions so I was like wait wait, you’re going to outfit me for BlogHer!?!
!!!!!! (I know RIGHT?!?!)
So I tried on a bunch of cute goodies, some that were better on someone else and not on me but ultimately I’ve got two cute outfits to sport at BlogHer (though it might be too toasty for a suit…) but OMG. AMAZE-BALLS!!!! Have you tried the new legging jeans? They’re amazing. The new denim is super soft and their new black pants are super stretchy and – best part – machine washable. No more are the days of dry cleaning dress pants! WIN!
Irina at the Stamford Town Center Gap was AMAZING. She was so fun to work with and definitely picked up on my style – adore here and can’t wait to go back and shop with her again.

Lately I’ve been really into necklaces…I’ve found some fun, chunky beaded necklaces! As you know, I am far from trendy with my wardrobe, but I still like a bit of fun! Also, I’ve been wearing more dresses lately, which is fun!
triple love the blazer!! I’ve been on the hunt for one that is affordable and available in a petite size.
as for adding personality to an outfit, I’m all about wearing flats in bold colors/prints. They always provide that much-needed ‘POP!’ to a look.

I used to be obsessed with shoes and bags, but it’s kind of fizzled. I’m sad to say that these days my outfits don’t stand out much at all.
I wear big, chunky jewelry to add personality. It’s often a bold pair of earrings but I have a couple necklaces that do the job, too.

I’m a flats girl – my current faves with jeans are my pewter coloured pair, they really POP out against the denim.
I’ve never tried jeggings before for fear that they’d fit awkwardly – but I definitely want to TRY, because I’ve seen so many people rocking them lately.

i love hair accessories! even though i’m 25 and probably pushing it a little since they are a little young girl-ish, i LOVE headbands and hair clips. doing something different with my hair makes me feel like i have spiced up an outfit and makes me more confident.

I always try to accessorize with a necklace or bracelet. Even if I’m just wearing a plain T-shirt and jeans, a little bit of jewlery can go a long way to pulling everything together into an “outfit.”
